Supply of Your Productsback to top

Subject to the terms and conditions, we will supply to you the Products indicated on your Order.

When your Order has been shipped, the shipment information will be available on the Web for you. In order to view this information, you must provide TechBeat with a user name and password. This user name and password will be your access key to all your current and past orders history.

Please note that not all items available on our site are in stock , but most products are available within 1-3 days from order.

Returns & Exchanges Policy (Our 14-day Returns Guarantee)back to top

Your satisfaction is our primary concern at TechBeat. We will gladly accept any returns on new merchandise 14 days from the date you receive your order as long as you follow our return guidelines and return it to us in its original condition within 14 days of the date you received the item, unopened (with any seals and shrink-wrap intact). You will receive a full refund minus our cost of shipping the item to you. Items may be subject to a restocking fee at the discretion of the Returns Department. Restocking fees start at 15%, and are determined at point of inspection.

You will be responsible for return shipping costs unless we shipped a product that was incorrect or faulty on arrival. Should a product be returned to TechBeat as faulty, but is found to be in normal working order, you will be charged for the cost of freight from you toTechBeat and the cost of return freight at our normal freight charges. You may also be charged a service fee for the testing of the product. TechBeat may charge a reasonable fee should you return any goods for credit or exchange which have been damaged while in your care. Generally credits/refunds are limited to the cost of the goods excluding freight charges.

Any products that have been personalized cannot be returned.

Sale items, discounted items, and custom items are not returnable.

Specific rules apply regarding refunds of delivery charges, giftwrapping and other services.

Our return policy for other situations, such as shipping damage and the rare defective item is explained below.

Before returning any Product subject to the clauses above, you must contact us by email or by phone on 02 8214 6645 between 8.30am and 5.30pm (AEST) Monday to Friday, excluding NSW public holidays, to make arrangements for return of the Product. You must return the Product in its original packaging.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

TechBeat owns the title of any extra goods shipped with your order that have been despatched in error.

Shipping Damageback to top

If you receive a product that is damaged in transit from us to you, you should:

  • refuse to accept delivery of the product,
  • direct the courier to "Return goods to sender" and
  • notify our Customer Service staff immediately.
If you have already accepted delivery, and then notice that the product appears to have been damaged in transit, DO NOT use the product and you should notify our Customer Service staff immediately within 24 hours of you receiving the delivery.This can only be done via phone to the sales manager of store. Make sure that you keep all packaging (boxes, shipping labels, packing material, etc...).

If your product is in full working condition or any defects or damage were caused after you took receipt of the product, it will be returned to you and you will be invoiced a processing fee and any freight costs associated with the return. These invoiced amounts will be payable within 30 days of receipt of invoice.

If we (or the manufacturer) decide that the product is defective, we will issue a credit for the original purchase price of the product and associated freight costs.

  1. Return Authorization (RMA) numbers are issued by our Customer Service department. Please fill out the RMA Request Form, accurately filling in all required information for all returned items. To begin, check the "I have read and understand the return policy" box below and then click "Begin RMA Process"
  2. Refunds will be issued when products have passed inspection at our location. Products will not be accepted without a RMA number. If merchandise is returned without a RMA number, you will be responsible for all associated costs. RMA number must be marked clearly outside the packaging. WE CANNOT ACCEPT RETURN PACKAGES WITHOUT THE RMA NUMBER CLEARLY MARKED ON THE SHIPPING LABEL. DO NOT PUT THE RMA NUMBER ON THE BOX/PACKAGE ITSELF.
  3. All returns must still be in brand new condition and have all the original packaging and original contents included.

Your products are insured against loss while in transit to you.

If you receive the product in poor packaging condition, you have the right to refuse acceptance. Please refer to Shipping Damege section for more details.

Once your order has been dispatched from TechBeat we are unable to change the delivery address or redirect it to another address.

Important Information About Delivery Timesback to top

In normal circumstances, we will endeavor to ship your goods within 48/72 hours of receiving payment (subject to availability).

All quoted delivery times are indications only (as provided by the individual delivery service), and indicate the time it would normally take for delivery once the goods are dispatched from TechBeat. Delivery times may vary, particularly for remote locations. Delays in shipment may occur if a product is out of stock or temporarily unavailable from our suppliers. You will be advised via email of any substantial delay. In the event of some items on your order being in stock and some items being substantially delayed we will contact you with the option to split your shipment. Additional freight charges will apply.

Open box or Clearance Itemsback to top

Refurbished and next to new items can be returned within 15 days from the date you receive the merchandise and are subject to all of the policies listed above plus a 15% restocking fee.

Defective Items:Defective products are rare and can be exchanged for the same new product or returned within 14 days of receiving your order. After this period of time, the exchange will have to be done by the manufacturer under the warranty. Note that all returned products that are claimed defective are tested by our technicians. If they are found not to be defective, a restocking fee of 10% will be applied. If a problem occurs after 14 days, please note that every third party product you buy from TechBeat is backed by the product manufacturer's warranty.

We offer a range of delivery services depending on your delivery location and order weight/size. For your security, all shipments will require a signature upon delivery. Our couriers may ask  you to present identification. Once your order has been dispatched from TechBeat we are unable to change the delivery address or redirect it to another address. During the check out process you will be provided with possibily several delivery methods. Different delivery services have different maximum sizes and weights that they will carry, so on larger orders you may only have one or two delivery options available to you.

A consignment note will be left at the front door if you missed the delivery and you will have 7 days to ring the delivery service to arrange for re-delivery. If the item gets returned to TechBeat, TechBeat has the right to charge you shipping cost for the item to be re-delivered.

We do not ship to Post office Boxes.

Customers are responsible for paying any freight charges incurred by refused shipment and unclaimed goods. TechBeat will make every effort to deliver on time. However, we shall not be held liable for delay or lost shipment.

Customers are responsible to have someone at the delivery address to sign for and accept the delivery (An adult signatory is required to receive goods). Cost for re-delivery attempts will be passed to the customers if the delivery address is unattended at the time of delivery.

While TechBeat does everything in it's power to ensure prompt shipping of all orders placed with us, occaisonally delays can occur. TechBeat supplies shipping and courier information to it's customers based on information from suppliers. TechBeat will not be liable for inaccurate ETA's, stock delays, or changes in stock availability.

All shipping cost will be automatically calculated by our system. You can click on the "buy now" button and shipping cost will be prompt before you confirm the order. Do not continue with the order if you do not agree to the shipping cost.

To make purchases from the TechBeat store, you must use an SSL-enabled browser such as  Internet Explorer, FireFox, Safari & Opera. This encryption technology protects your name, address, and credit card number during data transport. Some older browser versions and some firewalls do not permit communication through secure servers. In that case, you will be unable to purchase products. If you have already securely saved billing information to your account, you can still order securely using your saved information. However, if you submit new billing information through the non-SSL enabled server, it will not be encrypted. Access to your personal information. You always have access to the information we have about you by clicking on the link to your order in the confirmation e-mail you were sent when you ordered. These terms and conditions set out the full extent of our obligations and liabilities in respect of the supply of the Products and performance of the Services and there are no warranties, conditions or other terms that are binding on us except as expressly stated in the Contract. Any warranty, condition or other term concerning the Products or Services which might otherwise be implied into or incorporated in the Contract by statute, common law or otherwise (including without limitation any implied term as to quality or fitness for purpose) is hereby expressly excluded.

General

The Contract will be governed by the law of New South Wales. Both we and you irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.

The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of the Contract shall not adversely affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.

Neither our failure or your failure to enforce any term of the Contract constitutes a waiver of such term. Such failure shall in no way affect the right later to enforce such term.

We will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered or incurred by you arising from our delay in fulfilling or failure to fulfill or otherwise discharge any of our obligations under the Contract, to the extent that such delay or failure is caused by any circumstance beyond our reasonable control.

  1. Contact the supplier/manufacturer to arrange for your replacement or repair based on their terms and conditions of warranty.
  2. or we can facilitate the repair and return of the product to you. All shipments to and from us will be charged back to you. If you choose this method, you should contact us first to arrange for the delivery and shipment charges.
